We use native apps for iPhone and Android platforms. Native apps are inherently stable, scalable and secure.
We do not use any web simulation or other cross-platform technology where code is written in third party technology and then simulated on iPhone and Android platforms. There are inherently unstable and insecure as they have longer cycles to keep up with iPhone and Android upgrades.
Update Content Anytime
With our cloud hosted platform, museum authorized users can update content anytime on the web and changes will be reflected in mobile applications immediately. Users don’t need to download a data file to update content on their mobile device.
The Snapinfo app can be branded under your museum name. We will build a separate app under your museum name using our existing platform. You will have all the functionality that we currently offer and we will keep branded app updated with iPhone and Android upgrades.
With our easy to use self service web portal, you can not only update content but also manage other aspects of mobile application such as beacon mapping or sending out push notifications. We provide initial training and ongoing support to help you make most out of Snapinfo mobile platform.
We use role based security where museums can have different sets of users according to their roles. We support Admin, Content Editor and Reports users with access limited to only those roles. We enforce password rules and user lockout after certain unsuccessful attempts. For secure data transmission, we support Industry standard 256-bit SSL secure communication.
The app is designed to be configurable out of the box without any programming. But we understand that each museum is different and there may be specific needs. In that case, we can take our existing platform and add functionality specific to your requirements. Customization effort will still be less in this case as we will add your requirements on our existing platform rather than starting from scratch.
